I can't recall

The last time I saw you

Was it,

Beneath my chin

Sleeping on my chest,

I should have woken you up

To see your eyes

The memory

Wallows on the shores

Of my mind

Like a dead body

I'm trying to recover

But breaking waves

Land on top of it

And pull it back

To the deep, end
