In this issue, The Acentos Review calls art, poetry, fiction, nonfiction, interviews and reviews that pay homage to the Latina and Latino elders of our communities. Whether artists and writers themselves or pillars of strength and influence, we want to know about them. Imagine an interview with Sandra María Esteves or Lorna Dee Cervantes and make it happen. Send the portrait of your grandfather at the house he built. Let us take a moment to acknowledge the bones that support our passage. Let us be mindful of our own place in what is to come.
SUBMIT for this special issue Via Submishmash by January 1. In the TITLE Box, write “JANUS:” and then the name(s) of the works you will submit.
